This is a multi-level course with:
Level Two Achievement and Unit Standards for Level Two students
Level Three Achievement and Unit Standards for Level Three students
Entry Requirement
There are no specific entry requirements.
Students will need to have a positive attitude towards participation in outdoor activities and a commitment to demonstrating safe and responsible behaviour.
Cost
Outdoor Education carries a high cost to cover the professional instruction, specialist equipment and transport required.
The estimated cost is $400 - $600, with the final cost to be confirmed by the end of 2023.

Learning experiences will be chosen from a range of outdoor activities, for example:
Adventure Based Learning
Paddle Boarding, Flat Water Kayaking, Surfing
Sailing
Weather
Mountain Biking
Walking / Tramping
Navigation and Orienteering
First Aid
Bouldering, Abseiling, Rock Climbing
Ice Skating / Ice Hockey
Assessment
Outdoor Education is 100% internally assessed.
There will be 12-18 Level Two credits available (combination of Unit and Achievement Standards) to Level Two students.
There will be 12-18 Level Three credits available (combination of Unit and Achievement Standards) to Level Three students.
