Course Outline
In this course, students
- investigate our local geology in Dunedin,
- report on an issue related to Earth and Space Science,
- study how organisms survive in extreme environments
- carry out an investigation into their choice of marine science, hydrology, geology or astronomy
There is one external and this will be a majority vote; one is on extreme Earth events in New Zealand such as tsunamis, earthquakes and volcanoes while the other studies life cycles of stars and other planetary systems.
