Course Outline
This course equips students with theory and practical knowledge in financial planning and business strategies, fostering critical and creative thinking about finance and business. Additionally, students gain an understanding of global economic contexts and the importance of sustainability in business practices.
Topics include:
Understanding Strategic Responses to External Factors by Global Businesses - Students will study a successful local business that operates globally and investigate how the business responds to challenges.
Conducting and reviewing an Innovative and Sustainable Business Practical Activity - Students will work collaboratively to run a school community event.
Evaluating options to increase personal income - students will learn various income sources and evaluate the pros and cons of different options. They will assess the impact of education and skills on income.
Developing a plan for budgeting to achieve long-term financial goals. Students will gain an understanding of budgeting's role in financial stability.
