Good luck to all the Trinity students performing at TheatreFest this weekend!
This coming Saturday (27 July) the Otago Southland TheatreFest event will take place here at Trinity Catholic College with seven different drama performances from five different schools being presented throughout the day.
Trinity has entered two pieces - a short New Zealand play called “I Think We Need to Have a Meeting” which is a comedy and involves 5 junior students, and a longer New Zealand drama called “Pieces of Her” which involves 15 senior students.
Below is the timetable for the day. The Trinity performances are scheduled for 2.40pm (seniors) and 5.50pm (juniors). People are very welcome to come along and watch some or all of the performances. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for concessions (children, students, and seniors) and can be purchased using cash or eftpos on the day.
Our students have been working hard for over a term to bring these plays to life and they would love your support on Saturday.
A big thank you to Erica Ward for all the time she has put into directing these two pieces, Rebecca Meikle for organising the costumes, Richard McNaught for building some set pieces, and the students who are helping with tech for the weekend.
