Well done to our Trinity Catholic College Spelling Stars who competed in the regional semi-finals this week!
Congratulations to Martyna Twardowska, Abby Duong, Skyla Knopp, Zeekeeh Cuajao, Camila Barns, Ellie Sutherland and Kaleb Smith for competing at the Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee Semi-Finals!
What an intense competition to watch!
The students were amazing and did a great job. Sometimes you just get a word you simply don't know and so many students had their best guess and got it right and some had their best guess and got it wrong.
All the Trinity students made it through the first 2 rounds and then slowly dropped off. Camila was our last student in the competition.
Trinity is so proud to have so many students involved and as this is a year 9/10 competition this will set the year 9s up for doing even better next year!
