Elizabeth begun her award last year and has now completed it and has started her Silver award.
She undertook service through helping keep the Science laboratories in good order. Her speech and drama lessons were used as her skill. She rows for physical recreation and she tramped in the Caples Valley as well as the Abel Tasman track. This award is a great opportunity for young people to learn perseverance. Students can begin the award at the age of 14. The Gold award is considered so prestigious that it is awarded by the Governor General of New Zealand.
