Junior Prizegiving 2017
By Staff | Posted: Tuesday December 12, 2017
Another successful year was celebrated on the morning of 8th December, honouring our hard working Y7-10 students.
The Kavanagh community, including contributing school principals and Colin Campbell our Bishop, gathered to celebrate the efforts of our junior school. The guest speaker was Kylie Price, an ex-pupil of Kavanagh who spoke about how much each person matters and she sung Ed Sheeran's song, Castle on the Hill.
Many students crossed the stage on Friday morning for various achievements, from service in the canteen to being a top scholar or all-round student. The full list is featured in the Otago Daily Times article on 13 December. There are some images below of students and their awards as well.
We congratulate all students on their efforts and we wish them all a safe and holy Christmas. Recharge your batteries and be ready for a prosperous academic year in 2018 starting at the end of January.
