Senior Debate Team Makes Semi-Finals at Regional Level

Akein Wickramagedara, Che McGivern and Joseph Kelly in Year 11 are placed as one of the top four teams at the Dunedin Secondary Schools Debate (DSD) competition.
Congratulations Akein, Che and Joseph for being the first senior team at Trinity in at least 10 years to achieve at this level.
All three boys excel at debating and have developed their skills since Year 9. Not only do they work strong as a team, but they communicate and connect with others in the Dunedin debate community so they can be the best that they can be.
The semi-finals will be held in term three with the time and place yet to be confirmed. If you are free, please come and watch as these three students will show you how to win an argument. Our school looks forward to watching this team's successes in the next three years.
