Covid Update

Minister Hipkins has announced that, from 11:59pm Friday, people with COVID-19 and their household contacts must isolate for 7 days, not 10 days.
Household contacts will need to test on Day 3 and Day 7. Once you have recovered from COVID-19, you will not need to isolate again for 3 months, if someone else in your household tests positive during that time.
We are seeing more cases pop up in our school community in the last couple of days. Please remember, that if your child has any symptoms of ill health, they need to remain at home. Mask wearing has been very good at school. Please encourage your children to continue to do this and take extra hygiene precautions at present.
At the moment, our staff are teaching their normal teaching loads face to face, as well as checking in and providing work for students who are isolating. Please be patient with them as we also try to cover staff absences. As numbers of positive cases increase within the staff and student community, we may need to implement different strategies and you will be informed of these by email.
Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding, and we wish our isolating families all the best during this challenging time.
