It was lovely to celebrate the season with our netballers on September 20
We had 11 teams to celebrate. Our Year 7 and 8 teams all receive a certificate that celebrates their strengths in netball. Our Year 9-13 players receive four certificates per team and there are a number of trophies to award.
The Team Trophy: (The Grady Cup)- Awarded to the team who shows consistency, commitment, loyalty, support and dedication to each other.
This was a difficult decision this year and five coaches wrote some beautiful recommendations. Ultimately, it was a decision between two teams, 9 GOLD and 10 GOLD.
The winner of this trophy is 10 GOLD
Year 7 Most Dedicated Team Player- Awarded to a player who has shown commitment to practices, loyalty and dedication to the team.
This was a hard choice for the judges so it is to be shared between Freya Sutherland and Millena-Lourdes Lemm.
Year 8 Most Dedicated Team Player- Awarded to a player who has shown commitment to practices, loyalty and dedication to the team.
Harper Clark.
Year 9 Most Committed Team Player(McCulloch Cup) -Awarded to a player who has shown commitment to practices, loyalty and dedication to the team.
This was another tricky one with more than one nomination so it is shared between two players
Féile Ryan and Nina Hollis Pye.
Year 10 Aspiring Player Award(Straight Trophy)- Awarded to a player who shows a high level of skills and commitment to netball.
Isla Simonsen
