Great Results at Otago Athletics Champs

On Saturday 29 October, Kavanagh College had five individual athletes entered into the Otago Athletics Champs
Brooke Cathro placed 3rd in the 400m and 5th in the 800m, Patrick Cotter 3rd in the shotput and 2nd in the discus, Tomas Lahood was brilliant finishing first in the 800m run in a time of 2.26.68, Harry Lodge finished 12th in the heats of the 100m, Oliver Lodge was outstanding once again winning the 400m and 800m with a personal best of 54.31 in the 400m.
We also had great success in the under 16 4x100m relay winning in a time of 49.00 seconds, and also winning the 4x400m relay. The team was made up of Oliver Lodge, Isaac Tili, Joseph Brennan, and Jeremy Meikle. Well done lads.
