Year 12 Geography students went on our annual trip to University last week, to investigate the impacts of student life on the city of Dunedin.
We are looking at the positives and negatives of 20,000 young people living on and near the Campus in North Dunedin.
TCC students will write an Internal on the implications for people and place, gather some different perspectives on issues related to ’Scarfie Culture’, and make some recommendations as to how these issues could be managed.
We had a helpful conversations with Campus Watch, the Proctors Office and UniCol staff (who then invited us to enjoy the 24 hour ’toast time’ on offer at UniCol).
