2023 Student leaver user accounts

While students attend Trinity Catholic College, they are set up with user accounts for email access and access to storage areas to save their work.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to retain email and storage accounts for student leavers.
For 2023 student leavers, student accounts will remain active until 12 January 2024, at which point they will be disabled and deleted. Students will no longer be able to access these accounts (unless an exemption has been granted for special circumstances).
It is recommended student leavers do the following prior to this date:
Emails
· If you have any emails within your school email account (Gmail) you want to retain, forward emails to a personal email address.
· If there are any important emails you are receiving at your Trinity email address, you should inform the sender to send future emails to your personal email account.
· Any online accounts which are associated with your school email which you still need to access will also need to be associated with a personal email account.
Files
· If you have any personal files or schoolwork which is stored within school Apple iCloud, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive accounts that you want to retain, download these files, saving them locally to your computer, other storage device or your own personal cloud storage.
If you have been using Microsoft Office 365 with your school account, you will no longer be able to use it once the accounts have been disabled. If you are moving on to a tertiary institution, they may offer the ability to use Office 365 with a tertiary institution email account. Otherwise, if you still require the user off Microsoft Office, you can either purchase your own Microsoft Office 365 subscription or purchase an alternative Microsoft Office product (or compatible product) from a retail store.
