Trinity’s Got Talent 2023
By Tor Devereux | Posted: Wednesday October 18, 2023
On Wednesday 18 October Trinity students and staff were entertained by some of the school’s finest performers at the Trinity’s Got Talent shows.
The acts included singing, comedy, guitar, hip hop dance, bands, rap, minecraft, and piano playing - and everyone gave it their all. It takes a lot of courage to get up on the stage and perform in front of your peers and teachers, and the audiences appreciated this by showing lots of support for all of the performers.
At the end of each show, the students and staff got to vote for their favourite act and the winner was given the opportunity to perform at the Cultural Awards that evening. After the voting closed, the rap duo of Munya Mharakurwa and April Gamao were announced the winners, with Lucy Appleton the runner-up. Congratulations!
Thank you to Isobel McKewen and Sam Kelly who hosted Trinity’s Got Talent, Daniel Cairns, Drew White, and Patrick Cotter for all their tech support, all our fantastic performers, and everyone else involved with making this special annual event happen.
