Enviroweek is coming up, so make sure to mark your calendars everyone!

Clothing Swap and Sustainable Clothing Days!

Enviroweek is coming up in week 10.  As part of the week, the envirogroup is holding their annual clothing swap.  Bring along any clothes you no longer want and you gain entry to the clothing swap to look through all the other donations for free!  All sizes are welcome as people often choose clothes for younger siblings etc.

There will also be a sustainable clothing day.  The students do not need to wear uniform, instead we ask that they look at their wardrobe, and wear what is the most sustainable item they own.  This might be something bought from an op-shop, handed down, or swapped.  Or made from natural fibres such as wool etc.  Anything mended rather than thrown out is also sustainable!

If anyone has any sustainable crafts they'd like to sell at our gala day, please email nocallaghan@trinity.school.nz or talk to a member of the envirogroup.

There will be lots of other exciting events throughout the week too so keep an eye out for more information about these.

The Envirogroup meets on Thursdays at lunchtime, upstairs in the library and new members are always welcome.
