It is with sadness we farewelled Kavanagh's ex-senior master and teacher, Michael McConnell this week. Michael's energy, enthusiasm, honesty, discipline and etiquette will be remembered by students and staff over the many years of his contribution to education at Christian Brothers Junior School, St Pauls and Kavanagh College. He was indeed, and will always be, a timeless icon of the College. RIP Michael.
Senior external exams are now underway. Judging by final reports and results to date we can look forward to some very positive outcomes if students hit the mark they are capable of.
Junior exams and assessments have been underway this week and end of year reports are being prepared. I have asked staff to ensure students continue to be focused on core business at school and are meaningfully engaged right up to the end of year. This includes keeping uniform smart and being on time. It has been a great year and we are aiming to work hard and finish on a high.
