8HAI and 8CAM learning to use live sound engineering skills.

8HAI and 8CAM have had an introduction to setting up a sound desk with PA through speakers. Today both classes used these skills to set up microphones for themselves.
Hearing your voice through a microphone and speaker for the first time is a little unnerving! Two groups from 8CAM and 8HAI experienced this today, with much laughter.
They have learned how to plug everything into the sound desk and how to troubleshoot what they need to do if there is no sound coming out of the speakers. They have been very good at remembering to put the faders up and to unmute the channels, and they also know how to avoid the dreaded feedback...Great work Year 8!
