Artwork frame has been crafted with wood from the rented house that Mother Mary and the Sisters of St. Joseph lived in from early March 1898 until their first purpose built Convent was built in 1906.

You are warmly invited to join us, to help celebrate a unique slice of the Star of the Sea Parish, our Community and Regions history.

Keeping the Spirit of St. Mary MacKillop among us and the presence of the Sisters of St. Joseph alive in our community.

Time and venue: 3.30pm - Afternoon tea at the MacKillop Center, Church grounds followed by Artwork Blessing at St Mary Star of the Sea Church, Magnetic St. Port Chalmers
