University of Otago Young Women in Leadership Programme

The Young Women in Leadership Programme is an initiative run by the University of Otago. This programme is designed for Year 12 girls who have great leadership potential. The programme is designed to get young women to think about their leadership capabilities and consider beyond the stereotype that a leader needs to be an ‘extroverted go-getter’ and reflect on how it is possible for anyone to be to be a leader. The participants of the programme will also plan for and deliver a small-scale project with other participants.
