Meet Our New Staff

Kia ora! 

I am very excited to join the teaching team at Kavanagh College this year. I completed my Master of Teaching and Learning at the University of Otago last year and was fortunate enough to have a six week placement at Kavanagh College during the year.

I was originally born in England however moved to Dunedin with my family when I was 6 years old. I attended Columba College and went on to study a Bachelor of Physical Education and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Otago. After graduating, I spent four years working as a Sport Activator, teaching PE to a cluster of Dunedin schools and as a Sport and Movement coach at Playball Dunedin. I also spent a year teaching at an international school in Dubai.

I am really passionate about sport, health and physical education. In my spare time, I love to play touch rugby, run, bike and explore our beautiful backyard. 

I am looking forward to getting to know the Kavanagh community!
