Around the World Evening Market & Showcase – You’re Invited!

The buzz is building as our senior Commerce students gear up for one of the most exciting events of the year — the Around the World Evening Market and Showcase!

This annual event is a vibrant celebration of culture, community, creativity, and commerce, and our students have been working hard behind the scenes to make it unforgettable. From planning stall layouts to designing advertisements, our students apply their marketing and business skills in real-time to bring the event to life.

Get ready for an incredible range of delicious food and drink options, including Burgers and bacon Butties, Nachos, Dumplings, Fried Rice and noodles, Hot Chips, Hot Chocolates, Kebabs, Candy Floss, Sweet Slices, Candles, Poi, and more.

It’s the perfect chance to enjoy a night off cooking while supporting our student entrepreneurs. Our Year 10 Economics students are also involved with chalk art, face painting, games and opening the Showcase.

As part of this learning experience, students will also be donating a portion of their profits to a chosen charity, reinforcing the value of giving back and positively impacting the wider community.

And that’s not all! The Showcase will be a true highlight of the evening, featuring live performances from students and ex-students alike. Enjoy the sounds of The Late News Band, powerful Kapa Haka, soulful singing performances, and plenty of fun and laughter throughout the night.
