At 7am last Saturday, the Trinity hip hop crews set off for Invercargill and returned much later (at around 11.30pm) having had a fantastic day and achieved a number of successes.
Well done to all the students who were involved with last weekend’s hip hop competition - both the dancers and the coaches. They all did themselves and the school proud!
After months and months of choreographing and rehearsing, the crews finally took to the stage, gave it their all, and performed wonderfully.
Special congratulations to the crews that received awards:

3rd in the Small Crew Same School Primary/Intermediate Section - Titanium (Ismay Bone, Christel Jose, Jenelle Pestano, Molly Peters, Naomi Pushenko, Meredith Mary Shine, Halaina Sparks, Oaklan Stewart, Yulia Wood)

And congratulations to Syndicate (Isla Kamo, Sophie Waterworth, Hermione Sparks) who also qualified for Nationals.
A huge thank you to our van drivers (Erica Ward, Lynley Harris, and Hamish Sutherland), to all the parents who also made the trip south to cheer on the Trinity crews, whānau for getting students to early morning practices, Erica for overseeing and organising the crews and practices and sorting costumes, and all our student coaches who did a brilliant job.
