It is with great pride that we celebrate the success of a number of past and present students in the sport of Handball.
An impressive number of past Kavanagh College and current Trinity Catholic College students are members of the Senior Otago men’s and women’s Handball teams that competed at the NZ National club champs in Wellington last weekend. The competition was strong, featuring 3 teams from Australia.
Students who represented our Otago region, and who are featured in the attached photos are;
Back Row (left to right): Ex pupil Archie Campbell, Therese Tili, ex pupil Jack Harris, Isla Simonsen, ex pupil Lachie Tait, Aya Oseki, ex pupil Annalise Wilson
Front row (left to right): Isaac Tili, Nuala Kelly, ex pupil Graysen Thompson, and Angie Quinn.
Congratulations everyone. A great honour to represent your region! We are looking forward to Term 4 with the Secondary school handball competition starting. Currently Trinity College has 3 boys training and trialing for NZ Boys Youth teams, and 5 girls who are current members of the NZ Girls Youth team. What an outstanding achievement for Trinity College! Congratulations everyone.
