Kavanagh Rugby Girls Help Win Spartans Charity Tournament

This past weekend Green Island hosted the Spartans 10's tournament raising money for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. 

It was fantastic to see Kavanagh girls Helene, Anita and Keisha ripping it up on the pitch for such a great cause that hits close to home for many of us. The girls not only showed no fear out there amongst the women but actually stood out with their strong ball running, big tackles and massive clear outs at the ruck. 

There were also some Kavanagh Alumni the girls got to play alongside such as Cristy Watkins, Mariana Ioane, and Black Fern Kilisitina Moata'ane. Big congrats on the win, keep up the great work!
