Year 10's - Helping Teens Be Good With Money
Every year the BNZ runs a nationwide volunteer day called Closed for Good where they close branches and their staff help our community. This year they are concentrating on financial literacy and will be running a “Helping Teens Be Good With Money” session.
This year Kavanagh College is taking part on Wednesday the 8th August, which is the BNZ Closed for Good Day. Our Year 10 students will be taking part in the one-hour sessions.
The bank is not pushing its own products and the 1 hour sessions will cover topics such as Getting a Job, Pay & Tax, Wants Vs Needs, Interest & Savings including Credit Card Debt and High-Interest Money Lenders.
