Music Roundup

The Music House has been humming with energy this term. The main focus has been the incredible annual Secondary Schools Music Festival that was held in the Town Hall on 11th September. Our vocalists and musicians had an amazing time working with the other schools.
The term wraps up with our incredible showcase of musical talent at the Blossom Blast music concert. This features musicians of all levels from students at the beginning of their musical journeys, through to our most experienced musicians. It features our award-winning jazz band, and chamber musicians. Kavanagh's Junior Band will also have a starring role. The koha accepted from the Music Squad goes towards their social justice focus, this year being helping people in our community through supporting the Dunedin Night Shelter and Kiwi Harvest.
