Planning and preparation are well underway for the upcoming Matariki Night Market & Showcase.
The business groups are fine-tuning their marketing and promotion strategies to ensure attendees will enjoy the event. They are preparing business plans and learning that consideration of financial and non-financial aspects of a business are vital to its success.
The Night Market stalls will offer the following kai: soup, Maori bread, fried rice, sausage sizzle, candyfloss, popcorn, designer cupcakes and other baked goods, sherbert and drinks. Please bring cash as there is no Eftpos.
Other items for sale include: Matariki themed jewellery, balloon animals, heated wheatbags, glow sticks, designer lighted jars, etc…
All games and activites are free and include: A giant Connect Four game, basketball shooting hoops, face painting, Matariki-themed chalkart, quoits and bowling. The Year Ten Economics students will run these events.
We look forward to welcoming you all to this celebration.
