Deputy Head Boy - Caleb Kelekolio
Hello my name is Caleb Kelekolio. I came to Kavanagh College in Year 7 from St Bernadette’s Primary School. I am the eldest of three children with a little brother who is in Year 9 and a little sister who is in her last year at St Bernadette’s. My family is a Catholic family. We have values in our family which are similar to the Kavanagh values. At home, we base our actions on those values and this helps me both in and out of school to show these values.
I play rugby for the First XV and am part of the Pacific cultural group Pacifica Vibes. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, go training or just relax at home.
I love that Kavanagh is a family based school. When you are in school it feels like you are part of that family and when you leave you still are connected to the school. I also love all the different cultures and how we embrace them in a variety of ways.
My personal goals for 2019 are to be a positive role model for the students, be involved in the cultural, sports and academic areas of the College and also encourage others to feel part of the school, by being involved in the variety of activities offered .
