Available to females in Year 10-13, interested in developing their leadership skills through cricket.
A potential leadership opportunity exists for young females involved in cricket in Years 10 – 13. Interested participants do not need to be team captains or aspiring team captains, they just need to be interested in cricket. There are many ways to lead within sports, including but not limited to, umpiring and coaching.
Suzie Bates Leadership Course 2024
Date: Tuesday 1 October and Wednesday 2 October
Location: Dunedin
Cost: $125 (includes the cost of all meals, accommodation, and a t-shirt)
Purpose: To develop young female leaders in cricket throughout Otago.
Overview:
A two-day residential with a variety of workshops and guest speakers including Disability & Inclusion, Well-being, Communication, Leadership, Umpiring and Coaching. There will also be further development opportunities and support provided by OCA throughout the season. To express your interest or for more information click here
