ASSESSMENT WEEK TIMETABLE FOR YEARS 11-13 STUDENTS, 16-22 SEPTEMBER

During the assessment timetable week for senior students it is vital that students and parents know the importance of these practice externals.
Not only will the results be used to determine prizegiving grades, they will be the basis of a derived grade in the event of injury, illness or a family bereavement. This is especially important this year due to the uncertainty around the future regarding the effects of Covid 19 on the running of the November external exams. These practice exams will contribute to collated evidence if a derived grade is necessary.
If a student cannot attend due to illness they must phone the school office. Arrangements will have to be made to sit the exam later in this suspended timetable week by contacting their teacher.
If a student breaks a limb they are not eligible for writing support. Students eligible for this support must have a long standing need and have had support over the years. Their applications had to be submitted earlier this year.
Students must be well prepared and treat these formative assessments as if they were the real exams.
