Musac Edge - Parent Portal

We are very pleased to be moving to a new web-based student management system.

This will mean easy parental access to information about your son or daughter, including timetable, attendance and an easy payment option - reducing the need to physically come into school or send money to school.

Many caregivers have already expressed an interest in using the app for this new Student Management System which we are excited about.

We are still getting some functions setup including online payments. We would really appreciate you waiting until the go-ahead is given as we are setting up for you being able to pay any invoices from the phone app. If you attempt to make a payment now it will not work. We will let you know as soon as this function is up and running.

It is important you realise that you are already set up as a Musac Edge user with a specific email address that was supplied to the school by you on enrolment or followed through with your child from another school.

If you have tried to create an account and cannot see your child’s timetable, it is possible you have not used the email associated with your name. Likewise, if there is no email associated with your name, then you will also have trouble being linked to your child. If you suspect this to be the issue, please email Maria Menzies menziesm@kavanagh.school.nz and confirm with her your correct email address.

Please also realise that you cannot set up the phone app if you have not previously set up your account on a web browser as a parent.

We will be sending out full instructions once the system has been completely setup, hopefully early next week.
