The University of Otago Pacific Islands Centre extends a warm invitation to attend their upcoming Tertiary information evening.
Mālō e lelei
My name is Petelō Sinamoni, and I am the Pacific Outreach Programmes & Community Liaison at the University of Otago's Pacific Islands Centre.
My role is to engage with families, students and tertiary organisations, in assisting with knowledge and understanding of the enrolment processes for University of Otago. This includes, Scholarships, Study link, and accommodation information.
We are running a Tertiary Information evening for students from Yr9 to Yr13, and their families from the Pacific Community in Dunedin. This is being held at the Kings High School Performing Arts Centre, on August 28th Wednesday, 6 pm – 7.30 pm.
The purpose of this evening is to inform families in our community with aspirations of university for their children of how things will change now that fees free is gone, what scholarships are available out there, and what options there are, in terms of accommodation.
Would you please kindly pass this information on to your Pacific Students and spread the word so that we can reach out to as many of our local Pacific Island community as possible.
Attached is an information poster, for social media, notice boards, and email attachments. This event is open to all your Pasifika students that are interested in education at Otago University.
For more information, please contact me on email, or by phone. Ph: 021 279 1085. Please remind anyone interested to RSVP for catering purposes.
Mālō 'Aupito,
Faka'apa'apa lahi atu,
