EXCITING NEWS!

This is a programme where secondary students set up and run their own business. Students form a YES company and create a new product which they will produce and sell over the course of this year. The name of the business is “Under The Door Enterprises.”

The students will develop practical hands-on experience developing, managing and working in a real business. They will learn essential skills in decision making, self-management, teamwork and responsibility. These skills are highly sought after by employers. In addition, participation in YES offers significant opportunities to earn extra money and scholarships through local and national competitions which are run throughout the year.

We have already received tremendous support from the local community and our product will be launched at Mitre 10 Mega Store, Anderson’s Bay Road, on Sunday at 2.00 pm. The launch will run for 40 minutes and you are all very welcome to attend this if you are in or around the area.

The students have created an innovative and sustainable product which is made from 100% recycled materials.
