Meg Christophers had a very successful South Island swimming meet in Timaru at the weekend
Her results were as follows:
1st 50m Butterfly
1st 100m Butterfly
2nd 100m Individual Medley
2nd Skins Relay
4th 50m Breaststroke
4th 100m Breaststroke
The Skins relay above, where she gained a silver medal, is a knock out event with randomly selected strokes (50 metres of each). Meg had to swim backstroke three times, as well as breaststroke and butterfly to get her medal. They eliminate two swimmers after each race and then start the next race immediately.
Congratulations Meg we are very proud of you!
