Ngā Manu Kōrero

Manaia Barns and Patrick Cotter travelled to Invercargill with a great support crew led by Whaea Maya Tate-Manning and Amelia Bresanello, to compete in Ngā Manu Kōrero 2022.
"He mihi nui ki ā mātou kaikōrero, congratulations to our Ngā Manu Kōrero speakers Manaia Barns and Patrick Cotter who took part in the Regional Ngā Manu Kōrero Speech Competition last Thursday and Friday in Invercargill. Manaia placed 3rd in the prepared speech and 3rd overall in the Pei Te Hurinui Jones/ Senior Māori section. Patrick placed 2nd in the prepared speech and 3rd overall in the Korimako/ Senior English section. We all had a great haerenga to Waihōpai." - Whaea Maya
