Year 9 Ends the Term with Fun-filled Week!

Year 9 students had a fun-filled week to end the term, with engaging activities and a sense of camaraderie among classmates and teachers. To mark the end of the term and the conclusion of their exams, Year 9 students took part in delightful activities and joyful interactions.
During Week 8, students ventured out of their classrooms for a series of engaging events. They kicked off the week with relays, a chalk art competition, and multi-sport events on Monday. Tuesday brought about an exhilarating Amazing Race, where students embraced challenges like learning a tap dance, solving puzzles, and reciting a poem to name a few. Wednesday was a lively affair with an interactive Kahoot game and a festive Christmas movie screening. The spirit continued on Friday with a cross-cohort debate and a fun Christmas karaoke session that brought the whole cohort together.
As the week came to a close in Week 9, students enjoyed a refreshing swim and thrilling hydro slide adventure at Moana pool on Monday. Both teachers and students cherished this opportunity to unwind after a busy year, strengthening their bonds and creating lasting memories as the students prepare to move on from Te Timataku. It was a heartwarming conclusion to the year, celebrating camaraderie and joy in the school community.
