Nano Nagle Trust Fundraising Bingo Night

On Thursday 3rd of April the Nano Nagle Trust along with the Presentation Sisters,  held a fundraising bingo night to raise funds to support young people and their whanau who cannot access Catholic education due to financial barriers and challenges. The Nano Nagle Trust supports children and their families from all around Aotearoa.

Nano Nagle is an important part of the life of our College as one of our 4 houses is NAGLE. Year 12 students were asked if they would like to volunteer to help on the night to make this event run smoothly. Without hesitation we had assembled a squad of incredible volunteers.

During the evening raffles were sold, platters delivered, hot chips sold and our year 12 students worked the room with energy and positivity. For the community to see our young people the way we see them every day is always a source of pride and this was no different. What an exceptional group of young people!

Thank you to Cole Skipper, Adam Irvine, Alice Bennett, Maddi Muschamp, Charli Innes, Bella Anderson, Ella Carruthers and Boyd Middleton for representing Trinity Catholic College. Also a big thank you to some of our younger students who helped on the night. Freya Sutherland, Ellie Sutherland, Elise Fraser, Charlie Sutherland, Luke Cummings, Tomasi Tili and Zach Harris.

If you would like to contribute to the work that the Nano Nagle Trust does for young people and their whanau across the country, contact Mr Hamish Sutherland for more details. hsutherland@trinity.school.nz
