Two more Squash Titles For Bannister

South and North Island Junior Age Group Squash Champs

Congratulations to Aria Bannister who played in the South Island Junior Squash Champs at the Otago Squash Club in the first weekend of the school holidays winning the girls Under 17 title versus Victoria Moran from Canterbury. Aria won the match 3 games to 1, and she then followed this up by contesting the North Island Junior Under 17 Champs in Taupo over the weekend, winning the girls Under 17 title! Aria was up against Waikato's Charlee Neilsen, and ended up winning the match 3 games to 0.

It was Aria's first win at a North Island Junior Age group champs. She is off to the NZ Secondary Schools Champs in Wellington in 2 weeks time with the Trinity College Squash Team who are playing in their first ever NZ Secondary Schools Champs! We wish Aria and the Squash team all the very best!
