Farewell to Mr Ford

We need to let you know that Mr Brent Ford has resigned from Trinity from the end of this term. We thank him for all his work while he has been with us over the past five years as HOD English and teaching junior classics and creative writing, along with running Lego clubs and supporting the hockey teams. We wish him all the very best for what comes next. 

I am very grateful to Ms Liz Dryden who has very competently led the English department in Brent's absence during Term One.

Our new HOD English begins in Term Two. Ms Julie van Rij comes to us from St Hilda's. Julie is a very experienced English teacher, having recently been a Curriculum Fellow and University Mentor for the Masters of Teaching and Learning programme at Otago University. We look forward to welcoming Julie into our college and we wish her well as she gets established in her new role.
