Tēnā koutou e te whānau o Kawana - Greetings to the Kavanagh College family. Over the past few weeks I have been visiting our Kāhui Ako Catholic primary schools with some of our Year 7 students who are old boys and girls of these schools.
The students have been reading books in Te reo Māori and have had an opportunity to reconnect with former teachers and pupils. They have been great ambassadors for the college showing leadership and service. Last week we visited St Joseph's Cathedral School and St Mary's School Dunedin. On Monday and Tuesday of this week we spent the morning at St Francis Xavier and St Bernadette's schools respectively. Our visits will continue next term.
Wishing you all a safe and relaxing holiday.
