Otago Representative Honours for Trinity College Students

Basketball continuing to grow strong at Trinity Catholic College
We are extremely proud to highlight the achievement of a number of Trinity Catholic College Students following their selection in the Basketball Otago U14 Rep Teams this season! The teams competed in the Basketball New Zealand Regional Championships over the recent holiday break, and we extend a warm congratulations to the following students on making representative teams after a fabulous season of Basketball;
U14 Otago 'A' Boys:
David Hola
Fola Shittu
Jimmy McKenzie
Leo Patston
Sean Racaza
U14 Otago 'B' Boys
Gheill Zac Azarcon
U14 Otago Boys Development
Charlie Pope
Thomas McEntyre
U14 Otago 'A' Girls

U14 Otago 'B' Girls:
Isla Harris
Katia Walker
Phoebe Johannessen
During the South Island Tournament the U14 Boys A team fought valiantly in a highly competitive grade, going down to eventual winners Nelson in a close semi final and ultimately beating North Canterbury, finishing in 3rd place.
Gheill Zac Azarcon, member of the B Boys, claimed a commendable 3rd place in the B Grade, coming out on top in numerous games that went down to the wire.
The Development Boys team took home the C Grade trophy after dominating the competition and going undefeated.
Well done to Lulu and Zkaria who were stars in the A team, securing a solid 3rd place in the A Grade, gaining revenge over a solid Eastern Southland squad! Isla, Katia, and Phoebe played in the B team and finished 4th in the B Grade, a testament to their effort and improvement throughout the season.
