Sassenachs Rugby Season Underway!

Four schools have come together to form the new and exciting Sassenachs rugby team for 2024! Bayfield High School, Logan Park and Kaikorai Valley College, have joined with Trinity Catholic College to form a rugby team full of talented and keen players this season. This Otago Combined Co-Ed team have only had a few practices so far, however with a great support team and network around them, the Sassenachs won their first game of the season! 

A team with plenty of impact players, they warmed up at Logan Park on Saturday morning, eager to kick start their season. The game against the OBHS U15 White Team was very exciting, with everyone in the team playing extremely well. Players came together as if they had been playing as a team for years! We are incredibly proud of you all.
