Pentecost Celebration

A day of celebration was organised yesterday by the Special Character Prefects, Cultural Prefects and Junior Liturgy Leaders.
Many students came dressed in their beautiful cultural attire to celebrate their ethnic origins and in red to celebrate our Pentecost Week.
Pentecost is also called the birthday of the Church. It recognises the event where the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples about 2000 years ago and gave them the courage to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the whole world.
The day was marked by students dressing up and two liturgies for the senior school and a Mass for Te Timatanga in the hall led by Fr Hook.
