On Tuesday 30th of March, three teams travelled to Invercargill for the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival.
Ellen Redfearn directed Enrique Garcia and Ted Kerr-Bell in a piece from "Twelfth Night". Kate Kelly directed Troy Kubala and Amalie Latton in a piece from "Taming of the Shrew" and Lexie Tomlinson directed Te Kahui Mariu-Boreham and Imogen Sullivan in a piece from "Much Ado About Nothing".
We had a fabulous day enjoying the sites of Invercargill and came out with a number of awards from the competition.
Enrique won a Magic Moment as Malvolio
Te Kahui won a Magic Moment as Benedict
Troy and Amalie won Best Connection
An extra congratulations to Kate, Troy and Amalie who were the winners of the competition. Kate, Troy and Amalie will now get a chance to compete at the National competition in Wellington over Queens Birthday weekend.
A massive congratulations to them and to everyone involved.
