Chinese school students visit Kavanagh for one day

On Thursday 8 February, we had a visit from 25 students and 4 teachers from Yantai Foreign Language Pilot School, China.
We were pleased to welcome our visiting students for a 'day in the life of a New Zealand school', where they learned Kapa Haka, Kiwi English and attended Y8 and Y10 classes. Both the Chinese and Kavanagh College students had a great time and many new connections were made.
The International Department would like to thank all of the Y8 and Y10 buddies, the 11MAO students for teaching a class and all staff involved in making this visit such a success!
