Dunedin Rotary Secondary Schools Speech Finals

Congratulations go to Oliver Lodge for his second placing in the Rotary Dunedin Secondary Schools Speech finals last week. The competition saw the 5 finalists give a 5 minute timed speech on a topic of their choice. Final placings were decided by 3 independent judges and penalties applied if competitors went over time. The event was held at the Dunedin Club with the Four Dunedin Rotary clubs all being present. Oliver's topic was "Creativity is more important than Knowledge". I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the finalists and the variety of topics presented.
