Big Night Next Thursday

Year 7/8 Social – This event will be held on Thursday September 27th in the College canteen. As always there will be staff supervision on hand, with the Y13 Pastoral Prefects running the event. Entry will be $2 and there will be some treats available for purchase at a very modest price. This event is for students in Y7/8 at Kavanagh only and will run from 7pm until 8.30pm. Entry will only be via the gates at Tennyson St and the children need to be picked up sharp at 8.30 please.

Parent Health/Sexuality/RE Consultation – This biennial gathering will be held in the College Auditorium concurrent with the Social – Thursday September 27th 7pm until 8.30pm. DRS Dr Laurel Lanner and Junior DRS Mr Bede O’Callaghan will go over the programmes we teach from Year Seven to Year 13. We will have a cup of tea and can also use the time to share a few tales about the development of children from entry at the age of 11 to their departure at 18. These nights are very valuable community occasions indeed.
