Library News

This term we have welcomed a new set of Student Librarians - Jari Feldmeier, M.J Gallagher, Eden Webb, Anna Breese, Fletcher Clarke and Peter Hurd-Vial. They have been extremely helpful and they will make great additions to our team. 

Our Term 1 library competition was a great success. Students were asked to guess a book title based on a series of clues. We had so many entries that our entry box was overflowing. Our Senior Student Librarians blindly picked the winning names. They were: 

- 1st: Cooper Pauley  

- 2nd: Drew White 

- 3rd: Mātuā Tiopira - Samson 

The winners each received a Canteen voucher.

Our Kavanagh Reading Challenge has started with a bang. We have had 43 challenges completed this term. Pompallier is currently leading house points. Well done Pompallier members!

Week 2 will see our first ever Book Week. There will be both class and library activities, and a book character dress-up day. This will be a highlight of Term 2. Watch this space!
