Table Tennis Triumph!

We are extremely impressed to hear from local sporting organisation Table Tennis Otago, that one of our students shone brightly at the South Island Table Tennis Championships recently.
Trinity Catholic College is thrilled to be able to highlight the recent table tennis results achieved by Year 12 student Lam Duong, at the South Island Table Tennis Teams Tournament in Christchurch over the long weekend. The event attracted well over 50 teams from Southland, Otago, Canterbury, Nelson & Marlborough, and some impressive talent was on display.
Lam represented Otago in the U19 Boys team and he and his team mates played extremely well, placing 2nd overall in the event. On Sunday Lam also competed in the Canterbury Grand Prix Competition in singles and doubles matches. Lam won two thirds of the matches he played and showed tremendous sportsmanship during this tournament.
Congratulations to Lam and his Otago teammates on a fantastic display of skill and sportsmanship!
