BandQuest

Well done to the Kavanagh group of Year 7-8 musicians who took to the stage last Saturday in the annual BandQuest competition.
The group called “Into the Woods” was made up of Hermione Sparks (vocals), Harry Morrison (drums and vocals), Made Newson (ukulele and vocals), Sophie Jonathan (bass and vocals), Leo Branford (vocals), Ezra Bennett (acoustic guitar and vocals), and Evie Dummer (electric guitar and vocals). They performed “Don’t Forget Your Roots” by Six60 (in English and Te Reo) which they had been working on since Term 2.
Congratulations to the group and a big thank you to Ms Watts for all her support, encouragement and help at practices.
